Raffi Hovhannisyan and "Heritage" party to call citizens’ assembly

The opposition Heritage party and its leader, Raffi Hovhannisyan, are inviting the citizens of Armenia to an assembly later this week.

According to a statement from the party’s press office, the event will take place on Saturday noon.

The unique citizens’ assembly aimed at bridging the artificial divide between the civil society and the political process will consist of speeches and a musical performances. Hovhannsisyan will deliver a keynote address which will be followed by the party’s brief and special congress.
