“Haykakan Zhamanak”: ARF Dashnaktsutyun to nominate presidential candidate?

Armenia’s opposition ARF Dashnaktsutyun Party decided to nominate its own candidate for the presidential elections to be held in February, and it will announce this during Saturday’s General Assembly, Zhamanak daily’s sources report.

“In addition, any candidate that has not yet been nominated will be nominated [this time]. It is possible that ARF [Supreme Body] SB representative [and MP] Armen Rustamyan could be nominated.

[But] The ARF did not wish to comment on any of our queries with respect to the presidential elections urging us to wait until [Saturday,] December 22,” Zhamanak writes.
