Patriot missiles’ parts reach Turkey

The US has already sent the first spare parts of Patriot missiles to Turkey, Turkish Haberler reports.

The plane transporting them and the staff landed in Adana airport yesterday late in the evening. The staff has spent the night in Incirlik military base while the plane with the cargo departed for Kahramanmaras.

Turkey has demanded from NATO to locate Patriot missiles in its territory for security reasons. After getting NATO’s consent, Germany too agreed to sent militaries and missile systems to Turkey.

Some 60 German militaries arrived in Turkey yesterday.
