Armenian Agriculture Minister Sergo Karapetyan meets with French Development Agency representative

Armenia’s Agriculture Minister Sergo Karapetyan on Tuesday received Vatche Papazian, Senior Specialist for the South Caucasus Programs of the French Development Agency (AFD).

The minister reflected on the agricultural state of affairs in Armenia, ever since the independence of the country, and on those matters in whose resolving the Ministry of Agriculture looks forward to assistance by AFD, the ministry press service informs.

In his turn, Papazian noted that AFD is taking its first steps in cooperating with several administrations of Armenia, specifically with the Finance and the Territorial Administration Ministries, and added that the next domain of cooperation will be agriculture.

Sergo Karapetyan proposed the French Development Agency to present its observations in this domain.
