Armenian Catholicos receives Alain Delon

Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II on Tuesday met with world-renowned French actor Alain Delon.

The Catholicos presented to the guest the historic mission of the Armenian Apostolic Church and the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, reflected on the friendship between the Armenian and French peoples, and pointed to the French Armenian community’s important role in consolidating this friendship, Information System of the Mother See informs.

Stressing that Armenians have watched Alain Delon’s films with a special liking and love, Karekin II expressed his appreciation to the legendary French actor for his services rendered to humanity.

Subsequently, Alain Delon toured the museums of the Mother See and got familiar with the national and spiritual treasures of the Armenian people.
