The police press service reports that the alarm about the incident has been received on December 18.
A resident of Kaqavasar village of Shirak province phoned them saying that their relative Yeghsabet Arakelyan born in 1922 died in her house where she lived alone from the fire.
The fire was extinguished with the help of the residents. The police are probing into the case.
