Sasun Mikaelyan: "The situation in Armenia is really grave, but I am not disappointed." (Video)

Sasun Mikaelyan, commander of the Sasun detachment, believes the situation in Armenia is really grave.

However, he is not disappointed.

At his meeting with journalists following a congress of the Republic party on Friday, he said that it is everyone’s duty to save the country before it is too late.

We should put our heart and soul into the homeland,” Mr Mikaelyan said. As a member of the opposition bloc Armenian National Congress (ANC), he is not passive. In a few days, he will voice his opinion of the forthcoming presidential election in Armenia and the ANC’s tactics.

“Countries like Armenia, with their geographical location, should not implement a tough policy. I do not have a right to deny political developments", said Sasun Mikaelyan.
