TheQueen looks like a rap mogul in a pair of crystal-studded 3D specs.

Her Majesty donned them to review her Christmas TV message.

And the Swarovski crystals forming the letter Q perfectly set off her own “bling” — a pearl necklace, earrings and brooch.

It is the first time the message — filmed at Buckingham Palace — has been recorded in 3D. A Palace spokeswoman said: “We wanted to do something special in Jubilee year.”

Behind-the-scenes footage also shows the Queen meeting staff from Sky News, which produced the broadcast.

The speech will pay tribute to Britain’s Olympic and Paralympic stars, and reflect on the Diamond Jubilee.

Yesterday the Queen, 86, failed to attend church at Sandringham. A spokesman said she was recovering from a cold.
