At the 9th congress of  "Azatutyun" Party the party discussed RA NCA deputy Hrant Bagratyan's candidacy in presidental elections.

The proposal was adopted unanimously. The party officially nominated Hrant Bagratyan's candidancy in the presidential elections.

Note, that a few days ago Hrant Bagratyan wrote on his facebook page:

"Simultaneously I announce that if Levon Ter-Petrosyan will run, then I'll take off my candidacy. Ask you to bear in mind that I run not by ANC.

Moreover, in this period I have temporarily suspended active cooperation with ANC political council not to hamper any of them. "
