Artsrun Hovhannisyan: "Armenia has achieved great success in defense industry"

"Development of the military-industrial complex is the key direction of the Ministry of Defenseof Armenia" said the Defense Minister’s Press Secretary Artsrun Hovhannisyan during the press conference on Monday.

“We achieved considerable success in the past two or three years,” Hovhannisyan stressed, and added that the respective activities are carried out in cooperation with foreign partners, as well. He recalled that the Armenian-made product samples were displayed all through the year at a variety of military drills and exhibitions.

Responding to the query with respect to the Armenian Ministry of Defense's engagement to neutralize the anti-Armenian propaganda that Azerbaijan carries out, the Defense Minister’s Press Secretary noted: “Our task is to protect the homeland with weapons in our hands. But some work is being carried out so that the truth is not left in the dark. We intervene in all the cases when the Azerbaijani party insidiously presents distorted facts.”
