Today it has become clear that the first president of the Republic of Armenia, the leader of the Armenian National Congress Levon Ter-Petrosyan will not nominate his candidacy in the upcoming presidential elections.

In an interview with Lurer.com, commenting on Levon Ter-Petrosyan's decision, the Secretary of the Parliamentary faction of "Prosperous Armenia" Naira Zohrabyan said: "Today the first president of Armenia made a statement that he would not run for presidency and presented arguments for his decision. I think the political decisions of any politician, any political force are necessary to take note, and it is not necessary to create an excitement. "
