Stepan Safaryan: "I do not believe that the reason for Levon Ter-Petrosyan's non-nomination is age."

"I do not believe that the leader of the Armenian National Congress Levon Ter-Petrosyan has decided not to run for presidency because of his age, it's just an inappropriate argument."

This was said at a press conference of "Heritage" party Stepan Safarian. The latter convinced that Levon Ter-Petrosyan had hidden the real reasons for this decision.

"A sufficiently high risk was created for ANC. The party leader said he would announce his decision in two days, and then declared that he was 68 years old. This means that they say he has learned about his age in two days ", said Stepan Safarian.

Safaryan, however, does not believe that Serzh Sargsyan's main task has been solved. "Even if he is re-elected, the conflict will continue," said Safaryan.
