"Haykakan Zhamanak": Syrian Armenians are forced to shop from «Yerevan city»
Armenian Press
Yesterday extraordinary ambassador of Kuwait to Armenia at the Ministry of Diaspora gave cash checks worth a total of $ 100,000 to NGO coordination for Syrian Armenians' problems.
"Haykakan Zhamanak" writes that this means that thousands of families of Syrian Armenians living in Armenia will receive checks for 20 thousand AMD, which can purchase the necessary products.
The problem is that with these checks they can shop exclusively from supermarkets «Yerevan city», which belongs to the RA National Assembly MP Samvel Aleksanyan.
The Ambassador said that the supermarket chain has chosen the delegation that arrived from Kuwait to Yerevan.
"If someone has a logical explanation for why the money is not given itself that people chose themselves, as it is used up, and forced to leave the amount in « Yerevan city », we will be happy to hear this explanation," writes "Haykakan Zhamanak".
