Russia to continue efforts for solution of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict

Russia is interested in the solution of issues on international agenda, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said in an interview to Russian Interfax news agency.
He also referred to the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, noting that they will continue active efforts addressed to the peaceful settlement of the conflict.
“It is possible to suppose that the settlement of the conflicts in 2013 will be one of the priorities for international community. We will focus on Middle East, South Africa, Korean peninsula and Afghanistan issues. Of course we will continue exerting efforts for the settlement of conflicts in the CIS territory, first of all Nagorno-Karabakh and Transdniester conflicts,” the Russian minister said.
He reminded that in 2013 Russia will chair in the G4. Lavrov said the role of this mechanism grows objectively and it should serve to manage crises and solve the financial-economic issues.
