Communist Party of Armenia on December 29 last plenum of the Central Committee decided to boycott 18 February 2013 presidential elections. This was told Armenian News NEWS.am by the Secretary of the Armenian Communist Party Central Committee on Youth Policy Yerjanik Ghazaryan.
According to him, the Plenum of the Central Committee decree points to the inability to complete the deployment of the ideological struggle in the beginning of the campaign, which makes absolutely nonsense to nominate a candidate from the Communist Party.
One of the reasons for refusal to participate in the elections Armenian Communists consider the fact that "throughout the history of Armenia government totally falsify the election results, and now, unfortunately, there are no conditions to change the situation."
