Reception of the documents completed: 7 candidates continue to struggle

At 18:00 on January 4, the Central Election Commission of Armenia finished receiving nomination papers for the presidency.
As Armenian News NEWS.am the spokesperson of CEC Hermine Harutyunyan reported, all necessary documents, including receipts pledge, only seven candidates presented.
These are the incumbent president of Armenia, the leader of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, the leader of the "Heritage" party Raffi Hovhannisyan, head of the breakaway from ANC "Freedom" party Hrant Bagratyan and leaders of the "National Self-Determination" Paruyr Hayrikyan, former Foreign Minister of Nagorno Karabakh Arman Melikyan , head of the LLC "Radio Hay" Andreas Ghukasyan and eposmaster Vartan Sedrakyan.
Previously submitted to the CEC other documents of 8 potential bidders, in fact, drop out of the fight due to non-payment of deposit.
These are nonpartisan Taron Abrahamyan, nonpartisan Robert unemployed Aharonian, a lawyer of the European Court of Human Rights Ruben Ayvazyan, nonpartisan unemployed Mher Hayrapetyan, head of "National Accord" Aram Harutyunyan, head of the National Press Club Narine Mkrtchyan, nonpartisan pensioner Pavlik Sargsyan, head of the NGO "Kashatagh" Robert Simonyan.
CEC for registration, according to the Electoral Code, allotted 10 days.
