Lurer.com conducted a survey among its readers with the following question: "Where are you going to celebrate the New Year?".

The absolute majority of respondents, 77% (730 readers), according to the Armenian tradition, celebrate the New Year at home, in the family circle.
17% (160 readers) do not want to celebrate the New Year at all. 6% (60 readers) prefer to celebrate the New Year away from home, at holiday homes.

Interestingly, in the circle of readers surveyed nobody spent the New Year in Republic Square or in the restaurant.

The survey polled 950 readers.
