In an interview with Lurer.com NKR National Assembly deputy, the presidential candidate of NKR in 2012 elections, Vitali Balasanyan declined to comment on prevailing political situation in Armenia and to assess the future development.
"Let us not interfere in the internal political issues of Armenia. This is wrong. During the presidential elections in Artsakh, observers arrived from Armenia. They arrived, took part, all distorted and adversely affected. Armenia had to do its best to have free and fair elections in Artsakh, but did not, and now it will be wrong if we intervene," said Balasanyan.
Earlier, in an interview with Lurer.com Vice-Speaker, spokesman of the Republican Party of Armenia Eduard Sharmazanov, speaking about the achievements of Armenia in 2012, said: "I do not want to separate Armenia from Karabakh, so the presidential elections in Artsakh are also very important.”
“There I had a multi-party delegation led by the National Assembly. We had active observation mission and it was unanimously recorded that in Artsakh democratic elections were held, which once again proved that Artsakh develops human values, democratic values, and if necessary, you can follow Artsakh’s example ".
