Picked Mkhitaryan – won a shirt

Winter holidays did not pass Shakhtar by. Since the end of December 2012 internet users had an opportunity to participate in the contest held on our website, which involved a funny game: pick any Pitman and try to score against a mole.

Among those who did, three winners were chosen in accordance with the lottery format. Their names are:

- Yulia Cherkashina;
- Vasyl Kuprinenko;
- Andriy Katyuzhan.

Each of them will receive the grand prize – Shakhtar shirt with players’ autographs! Given that two of the winners do no reside in Donetsk, the prizes will be delivered to them. But Vasyl Kuprinenko, a long-time Shakhtar supporter, came to Donbass Arena to receive the gift personally. And then he told us about his emotions:

- I always follow the news on the official website, take part in discussions - said Vasyl. – I have been supporting Shakhtar since 1961, when I was a kid, and when the team won the USSR Cup for the first time. There is enough free time, so I regularly participate in promotions and polls. The same happened this time: I picked Mkhitaryan, scored from the penalty spot – nothing difficult. (Laughing.)

- In general, are you often lucky?
- To be honest, I was also lucky on another occasion - in 1989, I took part in the lottery and won MT-11 bike. (Laughing.) Although I am not a gambler. The Shakhtar shirt with autographs is a great gift, it will take a proud place in our house, in the lobby, where we store all the memorable photos and souvenirs. In general, we look forward to the spring and new games! We hope to win and will be rooting for Shakhtar in the matches with Borussia.
