In the last week of 2012, from 25 to 31 December 27000 609 Armenian citizens visited Georgia. "Haykakan Zhamanak" writes that in this indicator Armenians are the second largest number of citizens of foreign countries visiting Georgia.
Yesterday similar data published the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia. Georgia visited 98,910 tourists, 29 485 of which from Turkey, 27 609 from Armenia, 21,874 from Azerbaijan, 11,311 from Russia and 1744 from Ukraine.
In December 2012 371,881 foreign visitors visited Georgia, which compared to December last year, is more than 32%. It is not a secret that the neighboring country attracts Armenian citizens especially because of the relatively low price for their services. So many Armenians prefer to rest in Georgia. This is particularly noticeable in the summer.
