Roads are mainly impassable in Armenia

Due to the adverse weather conditions in Armenia on January 12 at 12:00 almost all of the roads in Armenia are impassable.

Selim Pass is closed, as well as inter-communal highways Berd-Chambarak, Aragyuh-Buzhakan and Sotk-Karvachar (NKR).

Because of a snowstorm and poor visibility Sisian-Goris highway is closed.

Saravan-Sisian highway is impassable, as well as the roads of Lori and Aragatsotn regions.

Snow cleaning works are under way.

According to Georgia’s Emergency Situations Department, Stepantsminda-Lars highway is closed.
