Syrian-Armenian doctors will be supported with jobs

Armenian Health Minister Derenik Dumanyan held today a regular meeting with Syrian-Armenian doctors.
Some 50 doctors attended the meeting. Of them, 20 have already been employed.
During the previous meeting, a group of Syrian-Armenian doctors said they wanted to open a private clinic. With today’s meeting specifying the areas of assistance that could be provided by the Ministry, Health Minister Derenik Dumanyan gave concrete tasks to his deputies.
Some leading experts also expressed willingness to be engaged in educational work in the Medical University after M. Heratsi in Yerevan and medical colleges.
Dumanyan assured those present that the problems raised at the meeting would be solved in the coming days and all specialists would be employed in Armenia.
At the request of Syrian-Armenian doctors, they will meet with the Armenian Health Minister on the first Saturday of every month.
