Does the General Prosecutor of Armenia say goodbye to his position?

According to the newspaper "Zhohovurd" the General Prosecutor of Armenia Aghvan Hovsepyan will say goodbye to his position this year.

In an interview with Lurer.com the spokesperson of RA General Prosecutor Sona Truzyan, commenting on the rumors, said:

"In recent years, some forces or personalities periodically tried to spread such false rumors. This is natural, since prosecutors oversee and ensure the legitimacy of the investigation and the investigation intensified policy of punishment.

Perhaps it is not profitable for someone, but I must disappoint them, prosecutor's office led by the General Prosecutor will continue its consistent struggle towards improving policy of punishment."

Note, that in September, a 6-year period of his control is over, then the National Assembly, on the proposal of the Armenian President will appoint a new General Prosecutor.

According to the newspaper "Zhohovurd," Serzh Sargsyan does not want to see again Aghvan Hovsepyan in this position, but it has not decided yet, who will replace him. According to the newspaper sources, this issue will be discussed after the presidential elections.
