Snowstorm hits Moscow, causes traffic jams

On Wednesday morning, Muscovites were greeted by unwelcomed snowstorm and strong winds.
Roads will be covered in black ice, causing heavy traffic. Pedestrians should beware of icicles and black ice on the sidewalks as well.
Heavy snow and a possible snowstorm are predicted. The snow is expected to last for two days, but will eventually ease.
Both the snow and the temperatures are normal for this time of January, but they could create problems for drivers.
On Wednesday morning, traffic in the city center was heavier than average, with Yandex.Probki registering 8 points out of 10.
The temperatures in the capital are expected to reach from -10 to -5 Celsius during the day.
