- Mister, what do you think about the game?
- A very good match for both teams. This match started our preparation for the Champions League games against Borussia. Zamalek is a good club. Some errors are understandable given the fact that it was a friendly game. I congratulate both teams on this game. After seven days of preparation, I can say that my players have done a good job.

- Did you watch the match between Zenit and Al-Hilal?
- No, I haven’t. I do not interpret this tournament as something special. For us this is a preparation. I want to see how my players operate during a match, to see the organization of the game. At this stage of training camps I am very pleased because it was a good training match.

- How would you assess a performance put on by Zamalek’s captain Ahmed Hassan?
- Fantastic! He is 37 years old, he organized the team actions well, he has great experience. Given Zamalek’s squad, it is important to have such a player.

- Whom did you like most of all at Zamalek?
- I was impressed by Mohammed Ebrahim’s actions. He is a very fast player.
