Today the Armenian society farawells to the popular artists of the Armenian SSR Vladimir Abajyan.
A memorial service was held yesterday, on January 16 at 18:00 in St. Hovhannes church (Kond, Yerevan).
Abajyan was born in 1927 in the Shirak village (Shirak region). in 1951 he graduated from the Yerevan State Institute of Theatrical Art and started his career at the Sundukyan Theatre.
In 1998 he was awarded the medal "Movses Khorenatsi."
