Lightning strikes aircraft of Turkish Airlines

An aircraft of Turkish Airlines (Türk Hava Yolları), which carried out Istanbul-Antalya flight last night, was struck by lightning, the Habertürk newspaper reported on Friday.

The aircraft suffered damage as a result of the lightning strike. However, due to the fact that it happened right before landing in Antalya, the plane successfully landed.

No one injured as a result of the accident.

It is reported that there were 69 people on board.
