Election observation mission of council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly

The Chairman of the Central Electoral Commission of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Mukuchyan received the delegation of Election Observation Mission of Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly on january 17.

Tigran Mukuchyan welcomed the delegation and emphasized the importance of the Observation Mission in the coming elections and represented the preparatory activities thereof carried out by the Central Electoral Commission.

The CEC Chairman especially highlighted the role of the professional trainings on holding elections organized for precinct and constituency electoral commission members and the steps aimed at raising public awareness and public trust.

Karin Woldseth, the Head of the Election Observation Mission, thanked the Chairman for the reception and presented the objectives of the mission in the coming elections.
