The foreign diplomats agreed upon Nalbandyan’s proposal to open a diplomatic club in the southern resort.
The new establishment is expected to gather together the top representatives of the diplomatic representations each January to discuss recent developments in interstate relations, and plans for new activities. The club will be headed by a doyen, a senior diplomat of the diplomatic corps accredited to Armenia.
Vayots Dzor Governor Edgar Ghazaryan, NA Republican MP Ashot Arsenyan and Jermuk Mayor Vardan Hovhannisyan attended the meeting. They presented economic potential, tourism and recreational opportunities of Jermuk and region's development plans.
