Gyumri Mayor: "I previously notified PAP leader Gagik Tsarukyan about Serzh Sargsyan's support."

Gyumri Mayor Samvel Balasanyan issued a statement which says:

"As a member of the political council of "Prosperous Armenia" I accept and respect the decision taken by the party not nominate a candidate for the presidential elections and not support any of the candidates.

But at the same time as a person and as a citizen, I made the personal decision to support the incumbent President Serzh Sargsyan's candidancy, as I naturally pre-notified PAP leader Gagik Tsarukyan. I made my decision, based on work accomplished and shown care in relation to Gyumri.

In the future, other scheduled programs will be carried out if Serzh Sargsyan is re-elected as a president."
