"Zhoghovurd": A "war" in Syunik region of Armenia

The newspaper "Zhohovurd" learned that in recent days a "war" started in Syunik region of Armenia; a bone of contention is the post of the head of the regional headquarters of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA). Although it has long been agreed that the regional staff of the Republican Party in Syunik should lead director of Zangezur copper-molybdenum plant Maxim Hakobyan.

Being a Communist, Hakobyan, since December 20 of the last year in an interview with the newspaper "Zhohovurd" ensured that he would lead the Republican Party headquarters. But the governor of Syunik Suren Khachatryan can not accept this idea. According to the sources of the newspaper, Khachatryan recently argued with Sisian Mayor, a member of "Prosperous Armenia" Aghasi Hakobdzhanyan as the latter announced in Sisian that this time he would manage the regional headquarters of the Republican Party in Sisian.

Things went so far that the Khachatryan banned the Mayor of Sisian convene meeting on Friday.
