Edward Nalbandyan: "Baku's destructive steps met the world community’s negative reaction."

"The repeated acts of provocation across the Line of Contact and the Armenian border seriously harm the negotiation process over Karabakh, affecting the regional peace and stability.

Baku’s destructive rsteps, such as the Safarov deal which was universally condemned, met the world community’s negative reaction," summing up the activities of 2012 Edward Nalbandyan said.

Edward Nalbandyan also mentioned that during 2012 saw Armenia’s strategy over Karabakh receiving world countries' approval yet another time. The Minister referred to the joint statements adopted on the level of the Armenian and Azerbaijani presidents, the OSCE Minsk Group mediators and the heads of the co-chairing countries.

The Foreign Minister said that during 2012 our country continued to strengthen its position and credibility in the international arena, and the number of friends of Armenia were increased in different continents.
