Shakhtar among Europe’s top 3 most stable clubs

The International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES), which is based in Switzerland, has published its latest Football Observatory study. It includes comprehensive club level data for 31 of UEFA’s leading member league clubs.
In particular, the experts pay attention to the expatriate presence in European leagues, the leading countries - exporters of players, number of locally developed players, percentage of internationals at the top leagues’ clubs and lots more.
The Pitmen have also been highlighted in the study. The study points out that FC Shakhtar Donetsk are "among the most stable teams in Europe". The study mentions that Barcelona is made up of the players, who "have been together for longest in the first team squad", with 5 years the average. According to the same criterion, Shakhtar have the 3rd position with the average of 4.4 years.
