Vahagn Chakhalyan has been freed

Political prisoner Vahagn Chakhalyan has just been released from Georgia's Rustavi N1 prison, in a talk with Lurer.com told "Multinational Georgia" movement leader Arnold Stepanyan.

Note, that Vahangn Chakhalyan was sentenced to 10 years in jail in April, 2009.

Chakhalyan was convicted of organizing mass events, violating public order, hooliganism, the purchase and storage of arms and ammunition.

Chakhalyan's father and younger brother were sentenced to fines, too.
