Lightning hit Turkish Airlines plane with 114 passengers on board (video)

Turkish Airlines passenger plane was hit by lightning, the Sabah newspaper reported.

The plane with 114 passengers on board was performing a flight from Istanbul to Izmir, when it was hit by lightning. The accident caused an engine failure and aircraft made an emergency landing at the Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport.

No injuries were reported.
