Administrative proceeding against RA presidential candidate Vardan Sedrakyan

Today Armenia’s Central Election Commission will discuss at its sitting the issue on launching an administrative proceeding against epos expert Vardan Sedrakyan, according to the CEC website.

Note, that the control-inspection service of the CEC registered a violation during its regular visit on January 24 for the implementation of effective inspection of financing of the campaign by the candidates.

According to the Electoral Code, the posters of the candidates should register where they were printed, the number of copies, the customer, while on Vardan Sedrakyan’s case it was not so. According to the Electoral Code, the posters are to be fixed in concrete places while in this regard as well violation has been registered.
