FC Shakhtar Donetsk received a fax from the Football Federation of Ukraine inviting the Pitmen to appear for the national team. The called players are the goalkeeper Andriy Pyatov; the defenders Olexandr Kucher, Vyacheslav Shevchuk and Yaroslav Rakitskiy; the midfielder Taras Stepanenko and the forward Marko Devic.

The head coach of Ukraine Mykhailo Fomenko relies on the above players to take part in the friendly with Norway. It will be held in the Spanish Seville on February 6. The training camp of the Yellow-Blues kicks off on February 4.
