Shakhtar vs Spain: statistics of friendlies

On 26 January, at the training camp in Spain, Shakhtar will play their game against the select team of free agents representing the above country. Before the Pitmen have faced Spanish teams who represented only their respective clubs.

Rayo Vallecano are the first Spanish team whom Shakhtar have faced in a friendly encounter. The game took place on 13 August 1995 in Spain. The Spanish side won 2-0. After a couple of days, the Pitmen took revenge, claiming a 4-1 victory. Igor Leonov, Gennadiy Orbu and Andriy Fedkov (twice) scored for our team.
