Under high protectorate of Armenian Ambassador to France Vigen Chitechyan on January 24 the presentation of the book of prominent French Armenologists Annie and Jean-Pierre Mayer "History of Armenia from its origins to present" took place. The event was initiated by the French Cultural Union of Armenians and Armenian Youth Cultural Centre in France (UCFAF-JAF).

Ambassador Chitechyan, in particular, praised the implementation of such a bold and, at the same time, the complex idea, and wished the authors success in new initiatives.

The representatives of Armenian studies circles, as well as community, journalism, cultural and public organizations in France attended the evennt.
