FEMEN girls decide to uproot prostitution in Germany

The controversial FEMEN Movement of Ukraine opened a new branch in Germany. Berlin and Hamburg will host the main offices for the German followers of this feminist protest group.

And Hamburg was the venue where the FEMEN activists staged their first protest in Germany. The girls held a protest march toward the city’s red-light district to combat prostitution.

The half-naked beauties’ slogan during the march was the Hitler-era phrase, “Arbeit macht frei,” which means “Labor makes free.” But the activists promised that their protest will not be limited to marches.
