Second sitting of the second convocation of the youth parliament is held

On January 25 at the convened second sitting of the second convocation of the Youth Parliament (YP) functioning adjunct to the RA National Assembly Standing Committee on Education, Science, Culture, Youth and Sport the bill “On Making Amendments in the Formation and Order of the Activity of the Youth Parliament functioning adjunct to the RA National Assembly Standing Committee on Education, Science, Culture, Youth and Sport” authored by the YP member Sevak Khachatryan was debated.

According to this bill, the Chairpersons of the Standing Committees functioning in the YP are elected for three months, the same person in the post of the Committee Chairperson can be reelected only in case when all the members of the Committee assume that post.

The order on the election of the Committee Chairperson and expressing distrust to that person is also established. By another amendment it is stipulated to include in every committee a representative from the NKR. As a result of voting, the bill was passed.

In accordance with the decision of the Youth Parliament one and a half hour was allotted to the announcements. The YP member Harutyun Azgaldyan said that in future the Youth Parliament would have its website.
