Artur Baghdasaryan received high-ranking officers of the Armenian Diaspora

National Security Council Secretary Artur Baghdasaryan received high-ranking officers of the Armenian Diaspora, who arrived in Armenia on the occasion of the Army Day.

Welcoming the guests, Artur Baghdasaryan mentioned:

"It is very important for us to have deserving countrymen like you. You visited Armenia on a very symbolic day, the Day of the Army, and I applaud you. I wish that your connection to your home became stronger, because, in fact, your experience is very important for us. You know that nowadays Armenia is implementing reforms in the armed forces to improve security systems, and your contribution and merit can be very helpful to us.

“Your contribution and experience may greatly benefit the large-scale reforms, currently underway in Armenian armed forces and security system,” he said, adding that Armenia cooperates with CSTO, NATO and the EU in the framework of the reform implementation."

The guests also discussed issues related to RA economy, culture, foreign policy, preservation of Armenian identity in Diaspora communities.
