Will the President help the dentists?

"Well, they are earning 3,000 dollars a month, let them pay taxes at least 200 dollars," not in formal discussions commented the Chairman of the Standing Committee on Health of mothers and children of the National Assembly Ara Babloyan the law "On Patent Fees", in whereby for each seat, the doctors who carried out the day before yesterday dental or dental work, must now pay for each seat license fee of 80,000 drams per month.

Such an approach of the main expert on health care sector, in all probability, was the base of the bill and "helped" our legislators for orientation.

Dentists' earned dollars have haunted first the Minister of Health Dumanyan, who also has to be one of the godfathers of the law "On Patent Fees", with his permission, apparently, a law was passed without prior discussions with dentists.

According to unconfirmed rumors, one of those who hold the "sword of Damocles" over the head of dentists, is Samvel Aleksanyan. They say that the main purpose of an organized "conspiracy" against the dentists is to create a monopoly here; because of the unimaginable fees numerous clinics will be closed, many dentists, especially the best professionals who are confident in their competitiveness, will emigrate, then, new clinics will be opened, a network of clinics monopolist, where already other dentists, as employees will work for a pittance.

10-12 thousand dentists in Armenia with Samvel Aleksanyan, Ara Babloyan, Derenik Dumanyan or without them, are today more than in an unenviable position. How Victor Dallakyan (Deputy of Presidential Administration, Permanent Representative of the President in the National Assembly) could make a mistake and allow Serzh Sargsyan to sign a similar law, it's amazing, but dentists do not lose the last hope, and say that their only guarantee is the President, they should explain President about the danger of adopting the law.

Dentists are especially worried about the fact that they are somehow not counted among the doctors, which is particularly humiliating for the professionals, who got education for more than 10 years, the dental clinics called with a casino, with tennis tables, a hairdresser.

This law is likely to put an end to the widespread "Dent tourism". Armenia among the countries of the Soviet is a leader today both with its specialists and technical equipment. Numerous tourists are willing to solve dental problems in Armenia.

Dentists told that the best experts uniquely emigrate (many angry dentists say that it was done intentionally to organize their emigration), that is why the young lose senior professionals' help. But the clinics will no longer be interested to recruit young professionals, showing them a direct route to the airport. In the case of these changes (if the President does not suddenly put to rest) a sharp rise in prices of dental services and reduced quality will register.

The fact, that in any sphere, the state must make a certain order and if necessary, make the necessary adjustments, is not negotiable. The fact that the scope and dental needs order (that everyone getting "higher dental education" does not build or open dental clinics, endangering human health), should not be a subject of discussion, too.

But when someone decides to use the confusion of the New Year and present on behalf of the state "surprises" and force many people (the people who only assist our country) to search for new ways of being, it should not only be just discussed, but it should be discussed as it should be; find and punish the guilty, so that in the future these adventurous have no idea there is such an attempt to commit and make unnecessary resentment among citizens of Armenia. If, of course, the Republic of Armenia actually wants to be a safe country, in a safe country, as it is known, doctors are more than assured.
