Russian and Armenian defense ministers discuss dislocation of Russian military base

Defense Ministers of Armenia and Russia, Seyran Ohanyan and Sergey Shoygu, discussed the issues of international and regional security and compared notes on a number of issues on the agenda of bilateral military and military-technical cooperation in Yerevan on Tuesday, head of the Armenian Defense Ministry told reporters after a meeting with his Russian counterpart.

"We also discussed the range of issues related to dislocation of the Russian military base", Ohanyan said.

According to him, the official visit of the Russian Minister of Defense, General of the Army Sergey Shoygu to Armenia, held on January 28-29, 2013, is planned.
