Andranik Matikozyan (Armenia) and WGM Tatev Abrahamyan (USA) tallied 4 points each, out of a possible 5, and shared 1st-4th places, together with IMs Dionisio Aldama (Mexico) and Zhanibek Amanov (Kazakhstan), at the chess open that was held in Los Angeles, USA.

Matikozyan took second while Abrahamyan captured fourth places on tiebreak.

GM Melikset Khachiyan (USA), on the other hand, was solely half a point behind the winners and he came in fifth.

A total of 28 chess players participated in this tournament, Armchess reports.
