The year 2012 saw less pressure against the Armenian journalists and media outlets, the Committee to Protect Freedom of Expression Ashot Melikyan said.

According to the latter, the number of violations of the right to receive and impart information has increased considerably, and it is noticeable especially on the eve of elections.
