Shengavit policemen' "acute sense of smell"
Analytical
Yerevan Police administration of Shengavit found a new, apparently, justified and effective way to combat crime. The first thing that everyone here feels entering the department is the stench spread throughout the building.
The stench is everywhere, on every floor, in every room, it is impossible to get rid of it, and the "rescue" only comes with adaptation, as there are no hopes for a gas mask.
The police, in all probability, have become accustomed to this "smell", moreover, they say that this is the result of their good work, it shows that "they have a lot of movement, many come and go, so they work well."
So, according to our brave police officers, there is a direct link between this smell and the fight against crime: how strong the "flavor" is, so the fight against crime is successful. There were recorded higher performance (it is possible that there are also special "camera" where it will be impossible to endure the smell, enough to hold the offender a few minutes in this "cell", and recognition is ready). All this, of course, because of the "special sense of smell" of our brave police officers.
The fact that Shengavit Policemen have "special sense of smell", I have already known. Today, however, I had a chance to see this once again. In my dream, I heard the doorbell. I sleepily wake up, looked in the eye and asked him, "Who's there? , "In response I heard - "the police."
-What do you want?
-Open, it is necessary to talk.
-I sleep, let me wake up.
Half asleep I dressed, washed my face, opened the door. And there are two policemen. I invite them to come in and ask what's wrong.
-We need Arus.
-There is no Arus.
-How's that? Is. Is it not that so-street, so-house, and so flat? Are you the resident?
-Address is correct, this is our home, but we do not Arus. Ah, there was a grandmother named Arus, living on the previous floor, but she died when I was young. So you also check the electoral rolls? Trying to find the cause of my awakening.
No, responsible police officer picks up the phone and call, "Hasmik, this is Sarkisian, we recently were with you, what was the address of your aunt?"
A woman's voice was heard: "You walk down that street, then turn right, so there is one such a building."
The woman does not name a specific street, but, apparently, it does not prevent our police because of their super sense of smell to find the "correct" address and find Arus.
Some idea of our the sense of smell of our policemen I discovered last year, when it was discovered that 16 fruitful trees were felled in our garden, I was "imprudent" angry and called the police, thinking that our police worked and for such cases.
So many years you have looked after the trees, watered, and suddenly some idiot came and cut down the trees, throws them into a truck and takes away, though, where there can be no stranger there.
It was then for the first time for me with my not acute sense of smell met with the "brand" of the police of Shegavit (at the next visit, I became convinced that the "brand" was not situational, but a fundamental and permanent), and already this is my idea of the last stage of evolution of police "smell" formed when after 10 months the guilty has not been found.
Evidence of a special "smell" of the police department is the fact that on the first day the head, deputy of head of Criminal Investigation and the staff for about two hours convinced me, a journalist, that it was not necessary to give the message.
And all those who may have serious dissatisfaction with our police, it would be good if they approach with understanding and appreciate their heroic zeal, as respect and reverence to the police is like to be be increased tenfold at least, taking into account how they manage with such "smell" discover one or two crimes a year. What can you expect from the police, who had such "nose"? ...
