The chief architect of Vsevolozhski district Eduard Hakobyan was killed

The chief architect of Vsevolozhsk district of Russia’s Leningrad province Eduard Hakobyan was killed. The attack on the architect was committed late at night.

At the entrance to the business center, where his wife's office is, Hakobyan was shot several times. As a result of the deadly wound to the head the architect died on the way to hospital. According to witnesses, the perpetrators were several. Throwing weapons, they quietly disappeared from the scene, "First Channel" reports.

According to 47news.ru, there was only one shot - point blank in the head. In fact, the killer, as reported by the police, had great composure, calmly walked, once shot at point-blank and calmly walked away from the corpse.

The investigation does not rule out the possibility that it was a contract killing, possibly related to the professional activities of an official. Eduard Hakobyan was in charge of urban planning of Vsevolzhsk region of Russia’s Leningrad province.

Eduard Hakobyan was appointed architect of Vsevolozhsk district in 1987. For a quarter century, he survived six district leaders. Hakobyan was known better than the heads of districts; without him nothing has never been moved. Reconstruction, land use, construction- all these were his own activities.

He built such rules. And the authorities of all levels this position found a complete understanding. For example, two years ago, the head of the district administration of Vsevolozhsky Alexander Sobolenko, in honor of Hakobyan's birthday built a small fountain of champagne, News.am writes.
