Armenia won two medals in Kazakhstan

From 26 to 28 January in Uralsk passed the stage of the World Cup in Sambo for the prizes of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev in sport and combat sambo among men and women.

Armenia was represented by six athletes. Two of them will return home with a bronze medal; Mavrik Nasibyan (82 kg) and David Grigoryan (90 kg). Both athletes are pupils of Stepanakert Junior School of Sambo and Judo, Sambo Federation of Armenia reports.

Since the medals were conquered on January 28 - the day of the Armenian army, Sambo Federation decided to dedicate this victory to all the soldiers in the army.

To note that Gayane Harutyunyan (48 kg), who presented Russian team won the gold medal.
