Vodafone Qatar company terminates roaming agreement with Karabakh Telecom

Based on obtained information, the Azerbaijani Embassy in Qatar ascertained that Qatari mobile operator Vodafone Qatar has a roaming agreement with Karabakh Telecom, illegally operating in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry press service told Trend on Wednesday.

The embassy has raised this issue in front of the Qatar Foreign Ministry and the Supreme Council of Information and Communication Technologies demanding termination of the contract.

Embassy officials also met with representatives of Vodafone Qatar and informed them about the Armenian aggression against Azerbaijan and occupation of Azerbaijani lands.

As a result of the measures taken, the management of Vodafone Qatar confirmed its termination of a roaming agreement with Karabakh Telecom.
